South Africa Travel

South Africa is a vibrant destination. When to visit the area can be any time of the year. However peak season is November-March this is summer time in SA. May to Sept. is their winter season. Having lived and visited in this beautiful country gives me a unique opportunity to share this with my clients.  I will share some of my favorite places to visit in this incredible destination.

The Game Parks Public Verses Private Game Reserves

South Africa is home to some of the most amazing game reserves – and they are a big attraction for many who visit.

Kruger National Park is one of the largest public game reserves where you will see the “Big Five”, the lion, the African elephant, the Cape buffalo, the leopard and the rhinoceros. In this area, there are a range of hotels outside the park and game viewing is restricted to the main roads within the park.

Private game reserves, such as Sabi Sands, Klaserie, Timbavati and Kapamana offer upscale accommodations, including tented camps of which some are ultra-luxurious. Since these are private game reserves, viewing areas are less restrictive and vehicles can go off-road and into the bush at any time, which can often enhance the game-viewing experience.

Cape Town, South Africa

As I continue sharing South Africa as a wonderful travel destination, I want to introduce Cape Town to you. It’s is a city like no other!

Cape Town has a mix of terrain, you have the gorgeous beaches and the mountains, all in one place. Cape Town may be considered an upscale tourist destination, but it is a destination for adventure seekers as well.

Try your hand at hang gliding down from Table Mountain. If you prefer a little adventure on the water there is Kayaking in Falsebay, or take an excursion to Seal Island. Need an extra adrenaline rush? How about shark cage diving! Or Just relax on the beautiful beaches. Highly recommended is a day trip around the Cape Peninsula.

After a long day of wonderful excursions Cape Town has to offer you will enjoy Cape Town’s culinary experiences. You will love the hospitality of the locals. Stay at a 4 and 5 star hotels along Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
